Bendigo Bats

The Bendigo Bats are a Bendigo-based running group of women and men of all ages, from high school students to retirees.

We would love for you to join us for a 5km race at Albert Park on June 15th 2025!

This event is open to everyone and we're keen to showcase the amazing athletes of the Bendigo region! It's a flat and fast course which is officially ratified and professionally timed. All speeds are welcome - it's a great race for a PB!

Steps to sign up

  1. Visit the Athletics Victoria site: https://members.athsvic.org.au/events/294199
  2. Click the Register button
  3. Enter your details: Select "Non-member - Female Entry" or "Non-member - Male Entry" and select the "Open & Overage" option
  4. No uniform required! If you have some Bendigo-themed gear it would be great to wear it though - whether that be a shirt from your Bendigo sporting club, an Erniold "Bendigo" shirt, or anything else you have! Or just turn up in your favourite running shirt, anything goes!
  5. Pick up your bib: On the day at the registration tent
  6. Meet us in the stand! We are normally at the far end, look for our flag!
